Pregnant woman executed in Iran along with her unborn child

Soraya Abolfathi was a brave woman whowas executed by the Iranian regime in the city of Tabriz (northwestern Iran) while she was pregnant.
Sorraya was a few months pregnant when she was executed at the age of 20.
She was sentenced to death by Moussavi Tabrizi, a cleric, immediately after she slapped him for making an absurd "temporary marriage" request from her in order to rape her with consent.
This is the story of one of tens of thousands of innocent women who were executed after the Islamic Revolution in Iran
Iran’s regime holds the infamous record of the world’s top executioner per capita. It also ranks first for most number of juvenile executions in the world. Women are also victims of the death penalty in Iran, with dozens of women who are executed every year.
Shockingly, the UN not only ignores Iran's crimes but also gives the regime key roles in UN bodies.
On March 2019 the Islamic Republic of Iran was appointed to the UN Women's rights committee that judges complaints of women's rights violations.
According to UN, the violations that Iran will judge include:
• Stereotypical attitudes towards role of women.
• Violation of women's rights defenders' freedom of expression & assembly • Deaths & torture of women in custody.
• Impunity for violations of human rights of women.
